Real Health Insurance
The most important factor in maintaining your health is the food you eat. Nature has it laid out for you what foods you should and should not eat. You only have a few teeth to tear meat so you should not eat much of that. You have many teeth for biting (chopping) and grinding so you should eat from the families of food that you can easily bite into and can chew without too much effort. These foods come for the vegetable family of foods. Except for those vegetables that are too acidic to be healthy. Real health insurance is relative to how much vegetables you eat. You never see things on packages of meat that say "high in vitamins and antioxidants." The reason we eat so much meat in America is because we were taught to by our parents and they by theirs. My Dad used to like have a barbecue every week because it established him as wealthy enough to buy meat. He never considered that the cholesterol would clog his arteries and eventually kill him. It had to do when he was working on the railroad and all the poor workers were eating beans and rice and the bosses were cooking up some meat (beef, pork, or chicken). When he saw that, he made the conclusion that the successful in America ate what cost more, irregardless of the value of the food in terms of health. Another thing about eating meat. It is sometimes portrayed on TV and in movies that cowboys used to eat meat on the trail while transporting the beef to slaughter. Of course there was no refrigeration on the trail so what kept for days and days? Beans and grain products. America was always a more vegetable eating country until the Europeans brought their diet to America, heavy with meat and fat. It is killing them now. The lie that cowboys ate mostly beef gives beef that "this is how America (at least the West) was won," and makes it one of the principle foods for "real America." So far, if your rich you eat meat and it you are a 'real American,' you eat beef. Pretty powerful psychological messages that can easily shape food choices. Now add the fact that your mother and father taught you to eat eggs and meat for breakfast (if they were rich enough) and we can understand completely why America eats the way it does. You have to get sick (deathly ill) to wake up and start to question if the things you thought were true (is animal food really good for you?) are really true. So, my insurance policy is really a policy. It is based on the principles The first one is that the better your food, the better your health. "Better" in terms of food means, organic, fresh, non-animal, supplying all nutrients that our science has proved to be necessary to our bodies, locally grown (as much as possible,) ("locally" means with in the same temperate zone, this means if you live in California, you can eat things grown in Japan but not in Chile. Check out a map to figure out what zone you live in.), vegetable quality (grains, fruits and veggies, beans, nuts and seeds etc.), non-processed, non-chemical (very filtered food), non-additive (although not organic, Original Fritos have only corn flour, oil, and salt, compare to the flavored one's). Another principle is try to eat less food. You'll be amazed how sharp you mind stays when your blood is in you head and not in your stomach. Less mental error. Less accidents. Less food less work for your body, less loss of energy, less chance for getting sick. Eat until you are 3/4 full then stop. Save the rest for later, give it away, or save it for your dog. Third principle, eat when hungry, drink when thirsty. If you don't get hungry until two in the afternoon then don't eat until then. Food tastes really good when you are hungry. If these principles are too hard to understand or you have objections to them, do as I have said in earlier writings. Get the pamphlets from the Cancer, Heart, and Kidney societies and eat as they recommend, they have put more research into their recommendations, then your parents ever did. If it's hard to be different just tell everybody you are precancerous (everybody is) and your doctor told you to eat this way. It is either this or poor health. You choose.
