The Arizona situation

The recent discontinuation of ethnic studies in Arizona leads to the possibility that the immigration bill passed by the Arizona legislature and signed by the Governor was not infact an immigration bill at all but an invitation for all Latinos to leave Arizona. Why? Because the White population is declining due to the Pill, and northern diet, and the Hispanic population is growing rapidly. Thus, White political power is on the decline. Solution? Kick as many Mexicans as you can out of the state (country?), make the state less attractive to Hispanics and reestablish white supremacy. To increase the White population in the US, White's must give up their summer vacations in Hawaii for larger families (the Irish are doing OK I think) and adopt an Italian diet (wine and bread), a Asian diet (fish, rice and veggies) or a Mexican diet (beans, rice, and chili/salsa) all of which are temperate climate diets and serve well for adaptation to America. The transplantation of the European diet to America is responsible for the high rate of cancer and heart disease. It is a diet that is well suited for cold and damp climates but will cause disease in a warmer and drier climate. The political smart thing to do of course is for many more Hispanics, to take up residence in the state of Arizona and along with liberal white friends vote the white supremacists out of office. What the Muslim radicals do with violence, the Christian terrorists due with politics.

The Arizona Bill

If you were a police officer in Arizona and you were given the job of stopping anyone who was suspicious of being illegal, what criteria would you use to determine who to stop and who not to stop? Would you stop anyone who wore a sombero? How about wrinkled clothes? Even if you went into hotels and restaraunts you would only check the Mexican looking people. Being Mexican would be more suspicious than being white or black. So that's how the new immigration bill in Arizona ends up doing racial profiling there is no other way to decided whether someone may be illegal just by how they appear. Appearance, as John Locke would say, is a secondary quality and nothing can be derived from it except the appearance itself. If Arizona wanted to cut down on its crime (which is a very big industry nowadays and another reason they want to "lock up" illegals instead of just deporting them) I would recommend passing two laws. One to outlaw guns in Arizona and the other to legalize illegal drugs, like marajuana. Rather than do these two things they are going after the bottom rung of people in America. People with no rights, little money and little status. I guess the sun has finally got the white's of Arizona. They have gone mad and have become cruel. Now pretend you are an illegal living in the US. Unless you were an assassin or some how affiliated with the drugs war in Mexico, would be more likely to commit a crime and face jail time and deportation or would you be more likely not to draw attention by going to work, paying your debts and taxes and overall stay low and not draw attention to yourself? I would do the latter.

Be and active Social Democrat

We have a couple of things we can be active doing for the November elections. One, we can support as much as possible the Legalization of Marijuana in California. And we can help defeat Republicans where they are vulnerable. If we can maintain the U.S. House of Representatives and
and increase the U.S. Senate by two it will demonstrate that America continues to want change, progressive change. Also, any of you that want to make a run for office. Now would be a good time to start. Feel free to use any of the ideas here to form your campaign. I be willing to help by writing speeches and discussing strategy.

Addition Platform for Democratic Socialism

I have, in a couple of these blogs, outlined my opinion on what a platform for a society of business and socialism could be (we are calling it Social Democracy). We really have a Socialistic Democracy now since we have public schools and to some extent public health care. We are just trying to expand the socialistic part of our society because we think that it would be a more just society than we now have. From time to time, as things come up, I will add things to this platform. One thing I now think we should add is the continual reduction of nuclear weapons until there is a time when there are none. Another thing we should be for is the elimination of the electoral college. We should also try to eliminate the two legislature houses for the states. The reason to get rid of the electoral college is to have a more direct impact from voting (Remember my idea of voting by texting. If American Idol can do it why can't we do it for elections?)You can tell where the first addition came from (it has been in the news this week). The last two are from Bill Mahr's interview with Jesse Ventura (who I met accidentally on one of my trips to Mexico) on "Real Time." If I am able when I get enough new items for our platform I will try and put them all in one blog.

No on 16.

They make it sound like government is doing something without your consent. They forget that you have already voted on what government is in place. So in a sense you have given your consent to the government you elected to act in you best interest. By making you vote again on whether or not the government should seize the utilities the utility companies are building leverage by having more time to raise rates and sustain high rates (which, by the way, everyone knows is coming). Do not believe the commercials. We want our government to seize the production of electricity when 1) there is an emergency (like some kind of terrorist activity against our utilities.) and 2) if the electric companies start charging so much for electricity that some people cannot afford it. By putting an election before a government take-over of electricity the utility companies 1) get to keep charging the high rates for electricity while an election is organized, and 2) they get another shot at you in advertising (convincing you) to not allow the take over. This, unfortunately they have been very successful in doing. Remember we are fighting a lot of money and slick advertising companies that know how to control our thinking. Keep a clear head. Don't believe the politics of fear and anger. We could avoid all this by having the government put solar panels on our roofs and then having the government sell the extra electricity produced. But the utility companies have successfully blocked this avenue to the average American home owner. Remember we are for small business but not in the basic needs of people. Utilities is one area (the energy area) where we need government run facilities. Vote no on California Proposition 16.
